I was inspired by a friend to dive into the blogging world. No specifics on what I’ll be writing about, but I think I need somewhere to share my thoughts, struggles and milestones and adventures as a new stay-at-home mom. Not only do I have my own little boy, now 2 months old, but I’ve also acquired an “insta-family” with my boyfriend and his now 5 year old daughter.
Unlike most moms who get to start out motherhood from the very beginning, I got to jump right in with a 4-year-old soon-to-be stepdaughter back in September when I was still pregnant with my son. And now that my little one is here, it’s been an adventure to say the least. We have good days and not so good days, but I wouldn’t trade motherhood and my life with my new family for anything in the world!

With many years of Fate throwing her damn wrenches in my gears while on the road to what I thought was the right path for me, I'm ended up in my current situation; living in San Antonio with my little boy, Vance, my better half, Travis, his adorable little girl, Chloe and our crazy border collie, Daisy. We both have had a crazy past that led us to each other, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We are finally home. ;)
